Population Forecasts 2023 – 2043 These population forecasts were commissioned because the ONS 2018 Subnational Population Projections (SNPP) were noticeably lower in 2021 than the census population in Bedford Borough. In Bedford Borough, it was observed that population growth had closely matched housing growth between 2011 and 2021.
